Show in HeLLSinki Mass

Last night we went to Great Barrington, MA (also a home to our bass player Robbie) to play a show in this super cool club called Helsinki (Robbie is also the clubs house soundman and MC). The club has a really cool vibe - the magic of Burlington, Vermont and coolness of the East Village. Lots of super fun mood lighting, red velvet curtains and just the right amount of bohemian charm.

We loaded our gear in through the winter wonderland, it had been snowing a few days earlier so it looked beautiful. Robbi's friend Dan who also works at Helsinki helped us load in our gear (Dan is a great guy who comes and helps us out at many of our gigs). Once load in the show got started.

As I mentioned earlier Robbi is the MC at Helsinki, so we got to see another side of Robbi we had not seen before...Robbi is the best Vegas style MC, he really gets the crowd into it.

We watched the opening bands and had dinner at the club (and enjoyed some free drinks). One of the acts before us was really cool and did a great version of "Cherry Bomb" and a Johnny Thunders tune.

Finally at 10pm we took the stage. We have been working on a new live show and were glad to get in front of a crowd and try it out. All went great, the crowd loved it. Towards the end of the show Magdalena dang Happy Birthday to Robbi's wife Kristin and Joe....

After we played Robbi took the stage once again... (Robbi does this incredible solo act). With guitar in hand Robbi shocked the shit out of all of us with a blistering musical voyage from classic song to classic song with wit and humor and was just simple unbelivalble...

Robbie you rocked us and blew all of our drunk minds! After the show we all hung out and drank many drinks (probably too many drinks... ).

You have to ask Eric what this dead bird is doing on the cymbal.

Till next time...
